Please note the following (8) announcements and reminders:

1. Weekly Spiritual Message

Spiritual message of the week by Father Jonathan:

“Good measure, pressed down, shaken together” Luke 6:38

These are the words of Jesus in the sermon on the mountain. It simply says do your utmost to GIVE THE PEOPLE THEIR RIGHTS.

A true Christian is the one who applies the commandments and not only comes to church or serves in the church.

Give the rights at work:
+ The Lord is my true boss so whether my boss sees me or not I give what is right.
+ The clients are the sons and daughters of God, I give them the due care out of the fear of God.

Give the rights due to your family:
+ Do not steal inheritance that is belonging to your siblings when you are in charge of it.

+ Kids give the right of full respect to your parents even though they are from an older generation or they are different in culture.

+ Think of the right of your sons and daughters in law to feel loved and accepted as they are

+ Think of the rights of grandparents to enjoy your sons and daughters and respect this right.

Give the rights due to God:

+ ½ hour of your day in worship and read the bible and spiritual books each day.

+ Give the Lord His rights in your tithe

+ Give the Lord His right of your heart, to endeavour always to love the Lord more than anything in life.

I’m afraid if we don’t do that we may hear the voice of Jesus saying “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift” Matthew 5:24.

Do not leave it too late lest you hear it at the door of heaven, there you can’t go back to give your brother his rights.

2. Parish Council Election Registration & Nomination

Dear Congregation

The Parish Council Elections will be held on Sunday 4 December 2022 between 8am and 2pm. Please see attached the Parish Election Announcement from the Diocese.

Registering to Vote

In order to vote on election day, you will need to complete the online registration form below and submit online. If you do not register, you cannot vote.

3. St Mark Church Open Day – Saturday 19 November, 10am – 12:30pm

Bring a friend from school, preschool or a neighbour, colleague and spread the word.

There will be food, activities, games for kids, and more!

4. Feast of St Wanas

We plan to publish a new book for St Wanas with Miracles and acts of love soon.

If you have any personal encounter to tell, please contact Fr. Jonathan.

Join us for the St Wanas Feast Celebration on Saturday 19 November at 6:30pm in the St Wanas Church.

There will be Vesper, gifts, food and dessert, to celebrate this wonderful saint.

5. All ages – Lion’s Cup soccer competition is back!
For HSC graduates and above.
On Saturday the 3rd of December.

١.الرسالة الروحية الأسبوعية:

يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس أبونا جوناثان

أَعْطُوا تُعْطَوْا، كَيْلًا جَيِّدًا مُلَبَّدًا مَهْزُوزًا فَائِضًا " لوقا ٦:٣٨

هذه هي كلمات ربنا يسوع المسيح في العظة على الجبل. إنه يقول ببساطة، ابذل قصارى جهدك لتعطي الناس حقوقهم.

المسيحي الحقيقي هو الذي يطبق الوصايا ولا يأتي فقط إلى الكنيسة بل ولا هو حتى الخادم في الكنيسة.

أعط الحق في العمل: الرب هو رئيسي الحقيقي، لذا سواء رآني رئيسي أم لا، أعطي ما هو صواب. العملاء هم أبناء وبنات الله، اهتمامي بهم يرجع إلى مخافة الله التي في قلبي.

اعط عائلتك حقوقها المستحقة: لا تسرق ميراث إخوتك عندما تكون مسؤولاً عنه؛ أيها الأبناء، امنحوا والديكم حق الاحترام الكامل على الرغم من كونهم من جيل أكبر أو من ثقافة مختلفة؛ فكر في حق أبناءك وبناتك في شعور هم بمحبتك لهم وقبولك لهم كما هم؛ فكر في حقوق الأجداد في التمتع بأبنائك وبناتك واحترام هذا الحق.

أعط الله حقوقه: نصف ساعة من يومك في العبادة وقراءة الكتاب المقدس والكتب الروحية كل يوم؛ حق الله في عشورك؛ حقه في قلبك بأن تسعى دائمًا إلى محبته أكثر من أي شيء آخر في الحياة.

أخشى أننا إذا لم نفعل ذلك، فقد نسمع صوت الرب يسوع يقول "فَاتْرُكْ هُنَاكَ قُرْبَانَكَ قُدَّامَ الْمَذْبَحِ، وَاذْهَبْ أَوَّلًا اصْطَلِحْ مَعَ أَخِيكَ، وَحِينَئِذٍ تَعَالَ وَقَدِّمْ قُرْبَانَكَ" متى ٥:٢٤.

لا تترك الأمر إلى وقت متأخر، لئلا تسمع هذا القول عند باب السماء، فلا يمكنك العودة لتعطي أخيك حقوقه.

٢.التسجيل والترشيح لانتخابات لجنة الابرشية

ستجرى انتخابات لجنة الابرشية يوم الأحد الموافق ٤ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٢ بين الساعة ٨ صباحًا و٢ ظهرًا.
