1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message for the week by Father Jonathan:
One day a holy Christian marriage counselor gave this advice to a married couple. I thought to share them with you as I found them precious, especially when you knew that this holy Christian marriage counselor is Pope Shenouda III:
1. Do your utmost to please your partner. This is God’s will and your number 1 task in Christian marriage; “Love does not seek its own”.
2. Study, understand and appreciate the special psychology and nature of your partner. It is definitely different than yours. Deal with him/her according to their nature and psychology. Biggest mistake in marriage is to plan to change their nature.
3. ‘Let it go’ in a lot of issues, as much as your wisdom guides you. If you fail to do this, your marriage will be at a great risk. Remember the bible verse “For with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured back to you”.
4. Exchanging gifts for your personal or combined occasions is like a magic to beautify your marriage.
5. Have common spiritual practices. At least read the bible together and come to the liturgy together “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”.

3. Kiahk Praises and Liturgies – starting from Saturday 11 December
During the month of Kiahk the church has the following services of praise and liturgies:
1. 6pm to after midnight each Saturday. Mass will start after Tasbeha around 11pm.
2. Special early morning Kiahk Praises every Saturday and Sunday morning: from 2am to 5:30am followed by the early mass and finish at 8am.
Please come and enjoy praising the Lord in a joyful spirit.

5. Year 12 Physics and Chemistry Intensive Courses
Year 12 Physics Intensive Course
When: 13th to 17th December
Time: 9am to 12pm (30 min break)
Content: Module 6. Syllabus dot point notes, Questions, and Homework will be provided.
Cost: $30 per day donation
Tutor: 2nd in the State Tutor
Followed by:
Year 12 Chemistry Intensive Course
When: 13th to 17th December
Time : 1 pm to 2.30pm (no break)
Content: Organic Chemistry..
Cost: $15 per day donation

8. Christmas Carols @Narrow Gate – December 19 (please note change of date)
Christmas Carols will be held at the Narrow Gate: 6 – 8pm on Sunday 19 December.
Get ready to enjoy the Choir, Food Stalls, Jumping Castles, Animal Farm, Santa with gifts and more!
St Wanas Charity will be collecting your generous donations and send it to children in need for Christmas. Please place new toys (average value $15) on the event, under the Christmas tree . Alternatively, you may choose to donate the same value at the St Wanas station on the day.
