Contemplation
Wealth is foreign to us, because it is outside our nature: it is not born with us, nor does it come to pass with us. Christ, on the contrary, is ours, because he is the Life: as well “He came to Him, and his people did not receive him” (Jn, I, 11). Nobody, therefore, will give you what is yours, since you have not believed in your good, you have not welcomed your property.
