Our church theme for this year is PRAYER.

About prayer, I read a sentence written by Fr Matthew the poor that shocked me.

He described prayer as a call then a response. But rather that we call on and wait for His response, Fr Matthew describes prayer as God calling us and waiting for our response. Think of it, the Almighty is calling me and waiting for me to answer.

May this year be a year full of answered prayer.

4. URM Bookshop and Café

As you may already know Upper Room Media is opening its first ever Christian bookshop and cafe!! This is a very exciting service and we hope it’s the first of many.

Our aim is to bring people to Christ!

However, we need your help!!

We are looking for people to help us make our first book purchase!

We need 100 people to sponsor 10 copies of a book each 10 books cost  $250, this will allow us to deliver the message of Christ to others.

Donations can be made to the bank account in the flyer.

This is something very exciting that we should all be part of. This will not only service generations to come but the wider community.

كما تعلمون، فإن Upper Room Media تفتتح لأول مرة مكتبة ومقهى مسيحي! هذه خدمة مميزة ومفرِحة للغاية، ونأمل أن تكون الأولى من بين العديد من المبادرات القادمة.
