Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!

 

Today, the stone is rolled away—not just from the tomb, but from every heart burdened by fear, despair, or defeat. The Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is not merely a moment in history—it is _the_ moment that redefines every other. Death has lost its sting. Sin has been conquered. The grave is no longer our end, but a gateway to everlasting life with Christ.

 

We are no longer prisoners of our past, nor victims of the present.  Whatever darkness you have walked through—whether grief, failure, addiction, or anxiety—it is no match for the risen Christ who meets us in our weakness and raises us with His power.

 

Our Lord is God of the impossible! No sin is too great, no addiction too strong, no mountain too high for the mighty Hand of our Resurrected Lord!

2. Service Changes

Important to note: The 3rd early mass time has changed – it will be prayed in the Kids church (St Wanas) at 6:30-9pm.

 

Other liturgies’ times are the same. Please find the updated timetable of church services for this weekend.

Wattle Grove Bus Service: A daily bus from Wattle Grove to St Mark’s Church is operating during passion week. On Good Friday, the bus will depart from Wattle Grove at 8:30am.

 

Shuttle Bus Schedule:

Friday All Day: 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

Saturday Evening: 4:45 PM – 11:30 PM

3. Unsupervised Teens at church

Please ensure your children and teenagers are not left at church unsupervised. There are no Sunday School or other services catering for kids or teens during Passion Week. There has been an alarming trend with kids staying at church all day in between Pascha services. A special mention regarding before/after and during Apocalypse Prayers.

 

4. Easter Sunday Carnival – Happening this Sunday!

6. Women at the Well – Needing the Kneading

You are invited to the next Women’s social on the afternoon of Saturday 24th May on the grounds of St Johns. An event for all generations of weary women, looking to understand why we need the kneading in our day to day walk?

This will be pondered with Fr Mark as we wait for our cookies to rise in the oven. This will be another beautiful evening of spiritual fellowship and togetherness.

8. Obstructing our neighbours

 

Dear Congregation,

Particularly during this sacred time of Lent, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of our neighbours by ensuring their driveways remain unobstructed at all times.

If you realise your vehicle is blocking a driveway, please make it a priority to move it to a more suitable location. This simple act of courtesy helps foster positive relationships with our neighbours and reflects our commitment to being respectful and responsible members of the community.

Unfortunately, we have received increasing concerns from our neighbouring friends about driveways being blocked by St. Mark’s parish members.

As followers of Christ, we are called to show love, respect and consideration to all — our neighbours, our community, and the shared environment we cherish.

Your cooperation in this matter is not only appreciated but essential in upholding the values we strive to live by.

المسيح قام! بالحقيقة قام!

اليوم، تم تحريك الحجر – ليس فقط من على القبر بل أيضاً من على قلبي المثقل بالخوف، واليأس والهزيمة. إن قيامة ربنا يسوع المسيح ليست مجرد لحظة في التاريخ- بل هي – اللحظة التي اعادة تعريف كل شئ . الموت فقد شوكته. الخطية هُزمت. القبر لم يعد نهايتنا، بل بوابة إلى حياة أبدية مع المسيح.

لم نعد أسرى ماضينا، ولا ضحايا الحاضر. مهما كانت الظلمة التي مررت بها – سواء حزن، فشل، ادمان، أو توتر- فهي لا تقاس بالمسيح القائم الذي يقابلنا عند ضعفاتنا ويقيمنا بقوته.

إن إلهنا إله المستحيل! لا توجد خطية كبيرة، أو إدمان قوي، أو جبل عالي أمام اليد القوية التي لربنا القائم من الأموات!

خدمة اتوبيس واتل جروف: يعمل يومياً اتوبيس من واتل جروف إلى كنيسة مارمرقس خلال اسبوع الآلام. يوم الجمعة العظيمة، سيتحرك الاتوبيس من واتل جروف الساعة 8:30ص

 جدول الاتوبيس:

طوال يوم الجمعة: 7:45 ص – 4:30 م

مساء السبت: 4:45ع – 11:30 م

برجاء التأكد من عدم ترك الاطفال وطلبة الصفوف الإعدادية والثانوية بدون إشراف. لا توجد مدارس أحد ولا أي خدمات لملاحظاتهم خلال أسبوع الآلام. يوجد اتجاه مثير للقلق وهو بقاء أطفال طوال اليوم في الكنيسة بين صلاوات البصخة. تنبيه خاص للأوقات قبل/بعد وخلال صلاة ليلة ابوغلمسيس.

 

 ٤. كرنفال عيد القيامة المجيد

٧.  إعاقة الجيران

 خلال الصوم المقدس على الأخص، نطلب منكم مراعاة جيراننا عن طريق التأكد من عدم إعاقة مداخل ومخارج منازلهم في كل الأوقات.

إذا لاحظت أن سيارتك تعوق ممر المنزل من فضلك انقلها على الفور إلى أي مكان آخر، أجعل من هذا الأمر أولوية. هذا التصرف البسيط الذي يعبر عن الاعتناء بهم يساعد في بناء علاقات إجابية مع جيراننا بصورة أسرع ويعكس التزامنا بالاحترام والمسؤولية تجاه أفراد المجتمع.
