1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Augustinos:
Love is invincible
The love of God is the true unseen love of the divine nature, His love is beyond human comprehension but must be experienced, must be sought after with a heart that is focused on one thing in life, that is Him. Once we are entering into His love we will find no other love that will satisfy us. Let’s not focus on the love of the world and its distraction, its pleasure but experience the deep divine love of God and not miss out on the love of the Beautiful who is our Lord Jesus.
This beautiful passage below from an unknown saint is a beautiful expression of the love of God.
“Love is invincible, royal children. Its homeland lies in heaven, its kingdom lies in eternity, its shadow on earth, its absence in hell. Oh how powerful is that shadow! But real love, the love which blazes in the fire of the eternal fatherhood and eternal sonship of God, the love which Christ brought to the earth — that love is all-powerful. The power of this love has no comparisons, no measurements, and no limits. The earth would have exploded if Christ had not risen from it.
The earth was incapable of containing Him within itself. This is the power of real, heavenly, eternal love. The might of love is indescribable. With the might of this blazing love, the King of heaven: visited the earth; endured all humiliations and tortures; and finally resurrected. By its might: infirmities are healed; demons are cast out; diseases are cured; storms are calmed, and all nature is forced into obedience. This love is entirely miracle-working, and wherever it appears – in whatever sphere and at whatever time – it works miracles.”
2. HG Bishop Raphael visit – Monday 7 November
HG Bishop Rafael will pray the Holy Mass with us this Monday 7 November at 8:30am. Come and invite others to take the blessing.
The Sydney program for the visit of HG is attached.
3. Feast of St Mark
Join us on Tuesday 8 November at 7pm. With HG Bishop Daniel in attendance, there will be vesper, choir, procession, a talk and aghapi, as we celebrate our beloved patron saint.
4. St Mark Church Open Day – Saturday 19 November, 10am – 12:30pm
Bring a friend from school, preschool or a neighbour, colleague and spread the word.
There will be food, activities, games for kids, and more!
5. Feast of St Wanas
We plan to publish a new book for St Wanas with Miracles and acts of love soon.

Join us for the St Wanas Feast Celebration on Saturday 19 November at 6:30pm in the St Wanas Church.
There will be Vesper, gifts, food and dessert, to celebrate this wonderful saint.

7. St Mark’s Education Centre – Update
The centre is a tutoring service for Year 11 and 12 Students in a number of subjects and offered by qualified servants in the church.
There will be no tuition fees, but we ask that students, instead, consider donating a small amount to the St Wanas Foundation each class.
Lessons will be held in the Habib Girguis Building and upcoming classes are as follows:
At this stage the classes will run during school term, but individual tutors may decide to continue classes during the school holidays, subject to their availability. We will advise students of any future holiday classes that may arise.

يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس أبونا أوغسطينوس
المحبة لا تُقهر
محبة الله هي المحبة الحقيقية غير المرئية للطبيعة الإلهية، محبته تفوق الإدراك البشري ولكن يجب أن يتم اختبارها، يجب السعي إليها بقلب يركز على شيء واحد في الحياة، وهو الله. بمجرد أن ندخل في محبته لن نجد أي محبة أخرى تشبعنا. فلنبتعد عن التركيز على محبة العالم وملاهيه، ومتعته، ونختبر المحبة الإلهية العميقة لله ولا تفوتنا محبة الابرع جمالاً الذي هو ربنا يسوع.
هذا المقطع الجميل أدناه لقديس مجهول هو تعبير جميل عن محبة الله.
"المحبة لا تُقهر، أيها الأطفال الملوكيون. وطنها في الشماء، ومملكتها في الأبدية، وظلها على الأرض، وغيابها في الجحيم. فما مدى قوة هذا الظل! لكن المحبة الحقيقية، المحبة التي تشتعل بنار الأبوة الأبدية والبنوة الأبدية لله، المحبة التي جلبها السيد المسيح إلى الأرض – هذه المحبة كلية القدرة. لا يوجد مقارنات ولا قياسات ولا حدود لقوة هذه المحبة. كانت الأرض ستنفجر لو لم يقم السيد المسيح منها.
لم تكن الأرض قادرة على احتوائه في داخلها. هذه هي قوة المحبة الحقيقية السماوية الأبدية. إن قوة المحبة لا توصف. بقوة هذه المحبة الملتهبة، ملك السماء زار الأرض؛ احتمل كل المذلة والتعذيب؛ وأخيراً قام. بقوتها: شُفيت العيوب؛ طُردت الشياطين. شُفيت الأمراض، هدأت العواصف، واُجبرت الطبيعة كلها على الطاعة. هذه المحبة هي عمل معجزي بالكامل، وأينما تظهر – في أي مجال وفي أي وقت – فإنها تصنع المعجزات ".

احضر صديق من المدرسة، أو من الحضانة أو أحضر جارك، أو زميلك وانشر الخبر.

٧.مركز سانت مارك التعليمي – تحديث
يقدم المركز خدمة التدريس لطلبة الصف الحادي عشر والصف الثاني عشر في العديد من المواد ويقدمها مجموعة من خدام الكنيسة المؤهلين.
لا يوجد رسوم للدروس، ولكن نطلب من الطلبة بدلاً من دفع الرسوم، التبرع بمبلغ صغير إلى مؤسسة أنبا ونس الخيرية.
ستقام الدروس في مبنى حبيب جرجس والفصول القادمة هي كما يلي:
تبدأ الدروس يوم ٧ نوفمبر. ستُعقد دروس الكيمياء كل يوم خميس في الأسابيع ابتداءً من يوم ٢٨ نوفمبر وإلى ٥ ديسمبر.
في هذه المرحلة، ستدار الدروس خلال الفصل الدراسي، ولكن قد يختار بعض المدرسين ان يديروا الدروس خلال العطلة الدراسية حسب تواجدهم. سنخبر الطلبة بأي دروس مستقبلية قد تتوافر خلال العطلات.
