1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Jonathan:
All it takes is one generation:
A senior devil whispered in the ear of a less experienced one ‘It just takes one generation of lost faith to vanish the people of God from the world’.
It is of concern that Satan is doing well in this plan. Statistics show that congregation who are 80+ represents 90% of the attendees in almost all churches in what used to be Christian countries. That’s why we see an increasing number of churches being sold each year. The reason is that Satan was successful in the 70th and 80th to have only 1 generation lose the faith in God due to the absence of a higher degree of alertness and true spirituality from the parents and maybe from the church as well.
As servants, parents, youth, and church, let us strive to pass the faith to the next generation. Let us not allow that any of our Coptic churches be sold in the future because all the attendees are 80+. Let it be our ultimate goal so that when we meet Jesus in the last day we can joyfully say “Here am I and the children whom God Has given me” Heb2:13. Assuredly I tell you, you won’t be allowed to say, ‘here I am only’.
As parents: live a holy life at home and do not compromise in the spiritual matters in your household. Work on the faith of your kids way more than any other thing.
As youth, servants, and church: let us pray fervently and offer our best in resources, innovations, Christian education, gentle fatherhood, etc to our little ones to grow in the faith of God.
If we do so, the little devil will whisper back to the senior one “I can’t achieve this one generation goal in this Coptic church”.
2. HSC/IB Liturgy – 8:30am Saturday 1 October
HSC and IB Students and their families are invited to join us for the special liturgy in the Arabic Church, followed by breakfast.
3. The Grace House at Alexandria needs our help
A 14-seater bus is urgently needed for this growing service. The cost of the bus is $100,000. St Wanas pray that we can get enough donations in the next 6 weeks to fully fund the cost of this bus before Christmas.
The Grace House is looking after 30 disabled male kids in a full board set up. The next project by the Grace House, that will be funded by St Wanas in the next few years, is to build Grace House 2 for female disabled.

١.الرسالة الروحية الأسبوعية:

كل ما يتطلبه الأمر هو جيل واحد:
همس شيطان مخضرم في أذن شيطان آخر أقل خبرة "يتطلب الأمر جيلًا واحدًا فاقد للإيمان للتخلص من شعب الله في العالم"
من المثير للقلق أن الشيطان يعمل جاهداً في هذه الخطة. تشير الإحصائيات إلى أن المصلين الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن ٨٠ عاماً يمثلون ٩٠٪ من الحاضرين تقريبًا في جميع الكنائس في البلاد التي كانت تعتبر سابقاً مسيحية. لهذا السبب نرى تزايد في عدد الكنائس التي يتم بيعها كل عام. والسبب هو نجاح الشيطان في السبعينيات والثمانينيات من القرن الماضي في أن يُفقد جيل واحد فقط إيمانه بالله بسبب الغياب الملحوظ لليقظة والروحانية الحقيقية من الوالدين وربما من الكنيسة أيضًا.
كخدام وآباء وأمهات وشباب وكنيسة، فلنسع جاهدين لنسلم الإيمان إلى الجيل القادم. فلا نسمح في المستقبل ببيع أي من كنائسنا القبطية لأن جميع الحاضرين تفوق أعمارهم عن ٨٠ عاماً. فليكن هدفنا النهائي عندما نلتقي بالسيد المسيح في اليوم الأخير أن نقول بفرح "ها أنا والأولاد الذين أعطانيهم الله " عب ٢:١٣. بالتأكيد، لن يسمح لك الله أن تقول، "ها أنا هنا وحدي".
كآباء وأمهات: فلنعِش حياة مقدسة في البيت ولا نساوم في الأمور الروحية في بيوتنا. ونعمل على تقوية إيمان أطفالنا أكثر من أي شيء آخر.
كشباب وخدام وكنيسة: فلنصل بحرارة ونقدم أفضل ما لدينا في الموارد والابتكارات والتعليم المسيحي والأبوة الحانية، وغيره لأطفالنا لينموا في الإيمان بالله.
إذا فعلنا ذلك، سيعود الشيطان الصغير إلى الشيطان المخضرم هامساً "لا يمكنني تحقيق هدف "الجيل الواحد" هذا في الكنيسة القبطية".
٢.قداس لطلبة الثانوية العامة / والبكالوريوس الدولي ٨:٣٠ صباح يوم السبت الموافق ١ أكتوبر
ندعو طلاب الثانوية العامة وطلاب البكالوريوس الدولي وعائلاتهم لمشاركتنا في القداس الخاص في الكنيسة العربي ويعقبه الإفطار
