1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Jonathan:
Over the Last 2 months our hearts have been greatly attached to our Lord Jesus. The sorrow of our Lord’s Crucifixion, the Joy of His Resurrection, and the power and might of His Ascension.
Now, the Lord has left us with 3 valuable treasures, we need to reflect and make use of them: (1) His own Body and Blood, (2) the Book of Life – the Holy Bible, (3) and the Holy Spirit.
I invite you to be wise and use these gifts. Partake in the Holy Communion weekly, read your Bible daily and communicate with the Holy Spirit continuously.
If you are able to do that, “Congratulations!” You are on the safest road to Eternal Life.
2. CAREERS EXPO 2022 – Tomorrow Saturday 18 June
St Mark’s Church is holding a Careers Expo for all current year 11 & 12 students and their parents to provide insight into different professions. The day will begin with a liturgy followed by in-depth presentations on different careers. Booths will be open all day where students will have the opportunity to have discussions regarding different professions with people currently working in the field. Great opportunity to gain some insight into possible career paths!

3. St Mark High School Boys Club – Tonight Friday 17 June
7 – 9pm, for Boys Years 7 – 10.

4. St Shenouda Monastery Trip
A trip to St Shenouda monastery has been organised for Saturday 25th June for St Mark’s congregation. Buses will be leaving St Mark’s church at 7am sharp.
Please purchase the tickets from the bookshop. The $10 ticket will be a donation to the Monastery.
5. St Mark Family Parent Seminar
As our lives return back to normality, our schedules fill with commitments, events and activities. Escape the busyness and join Fr. Elijah as he shares how to maintain quality family time.
The seminar will be held on Sunday the 26th of June at 10.45am in the Arabic Church.

6. The Second Mile service @ St Mark – Ready to help!
Second Mile services include visitation and prayers, help with doctor and hospital appointments, and help with groceries.

7. Parent Seminar – Cyber Safety Workshops: Save the dates
Cyberspace is one of the fastest moving realities around us, we’ve organised a series of workshops to navigate the existing and emerging risks, impact it can have on our children, ways to mitigate risk while staying true to our Christian beliefs.
Workshop 1: A panel of IT specialists and Psychotherapist will uncover the different risks of Cyberspace and the impact it has on children of all ages.
10th of July at 10.45am in the Arabic Church
Workshop 2: Panel of IT Specialists share the best software tools and a step-by-step guide to implement a secure Cyberspace for our families.

على مدى الشهرين الماضيين، ارتبطت قلوبنا بشدة بربنا يسوع المسيح. من الحزن على صلبه، ثم الفرح بقيامته، ثم قوة وعظمة صعوده.
والآن، ترك لنا الرب ٣ كنوز ثمينة، نحتاج إلى التفكير فيها والاستفادة منها: ١) جسده ودمه، ٢) كتاب الحياة – الكتاب المقدس، ٣) والروح القدس.
أدعوك أن تكون حكيماً وتستخدم هذه المواهب. شارك في التناول من جسد الرب ودمه أسبوعياً، اقرأ الكتاب المقدس يوميًا وتواصل مع الروح القدس باستمرار.
إذا كنت قادرًا على القيام بذلك، “اهنئك!” أنت على الطريق الأكثر أمانًا المؤدي إلى الحياة الأبدية.
٢.عرض المسارات المهنية لعام 2022 – غداً السبت 18 يونيو
تقيم كنيسة القديس مار مرقس عرضاً للمسارات المهنية لجميع طلاب الصفوف ١١ و١٢ الحالية وأولياء أمورهم لتقديم نظرة ثاقبة للمهن المختلفة. سيبدأ اليوم بقداس يتبعه عروض متعمقة حول مختلف المهن. سيتم فتح أكشاك طوال اليوم حيث ستتاح للطلاب فرصة إجراء مناقشات بشأن المهن المختلفة مع العاملين حاليًا في هذا المجال. فرصة رائعة لاكتساب نظرة ثاقبة عن المسارات المهنية المتاحة!

تم تنظيم رحلة إلى دير الأنبا شنودة يوم السبت الموافق ٢٥ يونيو لشعب كنيسة القديس مار مرقس. ستتحرك الأتوبيسات من كنيسة القديس مار مرقس في تمام الساعة ٧ صباحاً

يُعد الفضاء الإلكتروني أحد أسرع الحقائق تحركًا من حولنا، فقد نظمنا سلسلة من ورش العمل للتنقل بين المخاطر الحالية والناشئة، والتأثير الذي يمكن أن يحدثه على أطفالنا، وطرق تخفيف المخاطر مع الحفاظ على معتقداتنا المسيحية.
ورشة العمل ١: ستكشف لجنة مكونة من متخصصي تكنولوجيا المعلومات والمعالجين النفسيين عن المخاطر المختلفة للفضاء الإلكتروني وتأثيره على الأطفال من جميع الأعمار.
