Spiritual message for the week by Father Augustinos:
The of day of Judgement of the Rapid Antigen Test
The spotlights are on, the drums are rolling … 1st drop … 2nd… drop the 3rd drop… slowly drops into your Rapid Antigen Test. All eyes are gazing as the liquid rushes along the channel. The questions arise; is it positive? Is it negative? The heart is racing, the blood pressure is rising, sweat is dripping, the first T is starting to light up!!! The liquid continues it’s race to the C finish line. Flash, Flash T and C are equal in colour… "POSTIVE". The emotion will rush, all those around you will bolt like lighting thinking that you are now a germ screeming go to your room!! some of you will cry, some will faint, some will be depressed, some will panic, some will think they will die and some will actually rejoice.
Rapids Antigen Tests are becoming like lottery scratch tickets.
The fact is, thank God that with this variant Omena Corona, all will recover. Each of us having different reactions but by the grace of God they will all recover in a short time.
A positive test should not be a negative reaction but rather a positive outlook and understand that there is a spiritual message in everything that God allows. God is drawing us into a union with Him for our period of Isolation. St Paul in Romans 8:28 said "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose". So, we see that God has called us for a purpose but what is that purpose? This is the question everyone is to ask themselves. Maybe I am far away from God or don’t have time for God anymore, maybe I am too distracted with worldly things and the news of the world and the church, maybe I have certain sins or attractions that I need to repent from, maybe I don’t give God enough quality time in prayer or bible reading, maybe I am careless about my spiritual and eternity or it could be that God is calling you to spend more deep intimate time with Him away from the distraction of the world or even church. Hebrew 12:6 “For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives”. For when God disciplines us or calls us to a period of time with Him, we share in His Holiness and we are renewed for the better.
In Hebrew 12:10-11“For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it”.
Our time in isolation should be a conversion to the life with God. We need to turn our lives over with a new transformation to a deep intimate life with God and to enter and experience Gods unlimited divine love. Let’s not waste this calling to the Mountain to meet with the Lord. Let’s not waste this time in isolation with TV, Netflix, social media, news, gossip and sins, but rather we make it a deep time with God in humility and repentance, who will for sure transform us to a life of holiness and the revealing of His glory.
If you are called to ISOLATION you are called to a time alone with God. Don’t waste it because there may not be another opportunity again..

١.الرسالة الروحية الأسبوعية:
يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس ابونا أوغسطينوس
اليوم الحاسم لاختبار المستضد السريع
الأضواء مضاءة، والطبول تقرع … القطرة الأولى … الثانية … القطرة الثالثة … تسقط ببطء في اختبار المستضد السريع. كل العيون تحدق بينما يندفع السائل على طول القناة. الأسئلة تُطرح. هل هو ايجابي هل هو سلبي؟ القلب يتسارع، وضغط الدم يرتفع، والعرق يقطر، وأول T تبدأ في الظهور!!! يستمر السائل في السباق نحو خط النهاية C. انتبه انتبه، كل من T وC متساويين في اللون … النتيجة "إيجابي". تتدفق المشاعر، كل من حولك يندفعون مثل البرق معتقدين أنك الآن جرثومة ويصرخون قائلين "اذهب إلى غرفتك"!! البعض منكم يبكي، والبعض يُصاب بالإغماء، والبعض يُصاب بالاكتئاب، والبعض يُصاب بالذعر، والبعض يظن أنه سيموت بينما البعض يفرح بالفعل.
أصبحت اختبارات مستضد السريعة مثل تذاكر اليانصيب.
والحقيقة هي، أنه الحمد لله مع هذا المتحور اوميكرون كورونا، يتعافى الجميع. كل واحد منا لديه ردود فعل مختلفة ولكن بنعمة ربنا سيتعافى الجميع في وقت قصير.
لا ينبغي أن يكون للاختبار الإيجابي رد فعل سلبي بل نظرة إيجابية وأن نفهم أن هناك رسالة روحية في كل ما يسمح به الله. يجذبنا الله إلى الاتحاد معه في فترة العزلة. قال القديس بولس في رومية 8:28 "ونعلم أن كل الأشياء تعمل معًا للخير للذين يحبون الله، والذين هم مدعوون حسب قصده". لذلك، نرى أن الله قد دعانا لهدف ما ولكن ما هو هذا الهدف؟ هذا هو السؤال الذي يجب على كل فرد أن يطرحه على نفسه. ربما أكون بعيدًا عن الله أو لم يعد لدي أي وقت لأقضيه مع لله، ربما أكون مشتتًا جدًا بالأمور الدنيوية وأخبار العالم والكنيسة، ربما لدي بعض الخطايا أو متعلق بأشياء يجب أن أقدم عنها توبة، ربما أنا لا أمنح الله وقتًا قيّماً كافيًا في الصلاة أو عند قراءة الكتاب المقدس، فربما أكون مهملاً بشأن أبديتي وروحانياتي أو ربما يدعوك الله لقضاء وقت أكثر عمقًا معه بعيدًا عن ملاهي العالم أو حتى الكنيسة. عبرانيين 12: 6 " ان الذي يحبه الرب يؤدبه، ويجلد كل ابن يقبله" لأنه عندما يؤدبنا الله أو يدعونا إلى فترة من الوقت معه، فإننا نشارك قداسته ونتجدد للأفضل.
في عبرانيين١٢: ١٠ -١١ "أن أولئك أدبونا أياما قليلة حسب استحسانهم وأما هذا فلأجل المنفعة لكي نشترك في قداسته. ولكن كل تأديب في الحاضر لا يُرى أنه للفرح بل للحزن. وأما أخيراً فيُعطي الذين يتدربون به ثمر بر للسلام".
يجب أن يكون وقت عزلتنا وقت تحول للحياة مع الله. نحن بحاجة إلى أن نغير حياتنا تغيير جديد إلى حياة عميقة حميمة مع الله ولكي ندخل ونختبر الحب الإلهي اللامحدود. دعونا لا نضيع هذه الدعوة للصعود إلى الجبل للقاء الرب. دعونا لا نضيع وقت العزلة ونقضيه مع التليفزيون ونتفليكس ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والأخبار والنميمة والخطايا، بل نجعله وقتًا يتميز بالعمق مع الله في تواضع وتوبة، الذي بدوره سيحولنا بالتأكيد إلى حياة قداسة وإظهار مجده.
إذا دُعيت إلى العزلة، فأنت مدعو إلى قضاء وقت لوحدك مع الله. لا تضيع هذه لفرصة لأنه قد لا تكون هناك فرصة أخرى مرة ثانية.
استمر في عمل الاختبار السريع!
