1. Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message for this week by Father Elijah:
In 1 Corinthians 15 we read that Jesus revealed Himself to a number of people after His resurrection. There is an amazing phenomenon that continues until now that the Lord reveals Himself in a very clear way to some people during the Holy Fifty. When we examine this list, we can get some clues about the conditions to be one of these people who encounter the Risen Lord.
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.”
I Corinthians 15:3-8 NKJV
We should be repentant (like Cephas, who is St. Peter), United (like the twelve), active members of the church (like the 500), ready to make sacrifices (like St. James), preaching the name of the Lord (like the apostles) and joyfully accepting tribulation (like St Paul).
May we all encounter the Risen Lord during these holy days.
2. Booking for Good Friday and the Resurrection masses
1. There are still some spots available on Good Friday early session in the three churches. The links are still on to book a spot.
2. Please bring with you a copy of your booking (hard or soft) to be able to enter the church.
3. The scouts servants are there to help the church and each one of you. Please follow their instructions with love.
3. St Mark’s Feast
The Eve of St Mark’s Feast is Friday 7th May at 7pm.
+ 2 services in the Cathedral and in the Upper Room church.
+ HG Bishop Daniel will bless us in the night.
+ The night includes, vesper, changing the relics, procession, choir, drama and spiritual talks.
+ Agapy and gifts will be given.
Please come and share in the joy of celebrating St Mark in his church in Sydney.

نقرأ أن السيد المسيح أعلن عن نفسه لعدد من الناس بعد قيامته. هناك ظاهرة مدهشة تستمر حتى الآن وهي أن الرب يكشف عن نفسه بطريقة واضحة جدًا لبعض الناس خلال الخماسين المقدسة.
عندما نفحص هذه القائمة ، يمكننا الحصول على بعض الأدلة حول الظروف لنكون أحد هؤلاء الأشخاص الذين يرون الرب القائم من بين الأموات.

يجب أن نكون تائبين (مثل صفا ، وهو القديس بطرس) ، ومتحدون (مثل الاثني عشر) ، وأعضاء فاعلين في الكنيسة (مثل الـ500) ، ومستعدين لتقديم الذبائح (مثل القديس يعقوب) ، والكرازة باسم الرب (مثل الرسل) وقبول الضيقة بفرح (مثل القديس بولس.(
نصلي من أجل نلتقي بالرب القائم من الأموات في هذه الأيام المقدسة
