1.Weekly Spiritual Message
Spiritual message of the week by Father Anthony:
On Sunday our beloved brother Michael Sarkis taught us a beautiful practice That we can try in the Liturgy during the Hymn of Intercession (where ask for the prayers of different saints).
We learned to think of every saint whose name is mentioned in the hymn and try to link it to someone who could have a problem or something related to that saint.
For example, St Mary. She is a mother, so she always feels the pain of people. Therefore, whenever we hear her name, If we know someone who is in pain, we can pray for them and ask St Mary to pray for them as well.
During this hymn the priest is walking around the church and Incense is being raised towards heaven as a sign of the prayers of the saints and that includes you too! – the living saints in the church today. Enjoy the liturgy !
2. Grandparents Day – tomorrow – Saturday October 21Join us for mass in the English Church at 8am followed by Aghapy in the church hall.
3. St Mark Family Fellowship Parent Seminar – this Sunday 22 October
Topic: HSC Subject Selection and Scaling

4. Holyween – Sunday 29 October
Come celebrate HOLYWEEN at St Mark’s Church on Sunday 29th October during Sunday School (10.45-11.45am). All primary school children will meet in the Arabic Church. Please come to Church dressed as your favourite Saint.
5. School of Academic Excellence – Yrs 9 & 10 Maths Tutoring

6. St Mark’s Quarterly Cleaning Day – Saturday 4 November
Be sure to book it in your calendars – next cleaning day is November 4th, 12 – 5pm.
7. St Mark’s Families Camp
Don’t miss out on the St Mark Families Camp from the 1st – 3rd of Dec. Only a few more rooms are left, and we’d love for as many families to join us. Please book for a blessed weekend away where we can all gather and grow together in Christ. The agenda includes several spiritual talks by our church Fathers, interactive workshops that will be delivered by subject matter experts and a jam-packed weekend of activities for the kids. The cabins include linen, an equipped kitchen with a ceiling fan, aircon, microwave & a fridge for more convenience. علمنا يوم الأحد الماضي أخونا مايكل سركيس تدريب جميل يمكن أن نجرب ممارسته في القداس خلال لحن الشفاعة (عندما نطلب صلاوات القديسين )
تعلمنا ان نفكر في كل قديس يتم ذكره اسمه في اللحن ونحاول أن نربطه بشخص لديه مشكلة ما أويشارك القديس في صفة/ظرف/تجربة ما
فمثلاً السيدة العذراء كأم، تشعر دائماً بآلام الناس. ولذلك عندما نسمع اسمها، نطلب منها من أجل شخص متألم، يمكنا الصلاة من أجله ونطلب من السيدة العذراء أن تصلي من أجله أيضاً
وبينما نرتل هذا اللحن يلف الكاهن في الكنيسة ومعه البخور يرتفع إلى السماء وهو رمز لصلاوات القديسين الصاعدة إلى السماء وتشمل صلاواتك أنت أيضاً – القديسين الأحياء في الكنيسة اليوم

اشترك معنا في قداس بالكنيسة الإنجليزي الساعة 8 صباحاً ثم وجبة أغابي في قاعة الكنيسة.

٤.هوليويين – الأحد 29 أكتوبر
تعال واحتفل بالهوليويين بكنيسة سانت مارك يوم الأحد 29 أكتوبر خلال مدارس الأحد ( 10:45 – 11:45). سيجتمع كل أطفال مدارس الأحد بالصف الابتدائي في الكنيسة العربي. من فضلك احضر إلى الكنيسة في زي قديسك المفضل.
٥.مدرسة اكاديميك اكسلنس دروس في مادة الرياضيات للصفين 9 و10
لا يزال هناك فرصة للتسجيل. ابتداءً من اليوم 20 أكتوبر، تقدم كنيسة سانت مارك أيام الجمعة من 7:30 – 8:30 مساءً دروس للصفين 9 و10 في مادة الرياضيات
