2. Feast of the Ascension
Vesper for Feast of the Ascension is on Wednesday 24 May 7 – 8pm.
Feast of the Ascension is on Thursday 25 May. Will be celebrated in the 5 – 7am and the 8:30 – 10am liturgies.
3. Church Cleaning Day – Saturday 27 May
If you can spare even just 1 hour, please join us as we clean our beloved church. Saturday May 27, 12 – 5pm.
4. St Wanas Fund Raising to help build a village for Internal Refugee victims
Poor Coptic families are forced, against their will, from time to time, to migrate from their homes in villages in upper Egypt – being falsely accused of causing religious conflict. They became homeless. St Wanas started a fundraising initiative to help build new accommodation, a primary school and to offer financial help to more than 500 families to relocate to a village in the Wadi El Natroun area. Your help is needed in achieving our target to raise $200,000 to build the accommodation and the school sooner.

Starting this Saturday 20 May, classes are on every Saturday: 10.30-11.30am.

6. St Mark’s Coptic Mastermind competition
St Mark’s church will be holding a Coptic Mastermind competition for year 5 & 6 girls and boys this year which will be held on 13th August 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to study the Bible in depth and grow their love for The Word of God. In preparation for the competition, the kids will be grouped into teams of 4 and will be coached over the course of 7 weeks. Hurry!
