Contemplation (verse 6): “If we are all saved by grace, some might argue, why is everyone not saved? ‘Because they did not want to be’ is the answer. For grace, even though it is grace, saves the willing, not those who refuse it and turn away from it.” (+ St Augustine)

Personal Reflection: Have you ever felt like you disappointed God? How does it make you feel to know that God still keeps a place for you, even when you struggle? What does it mean to be part of the “faithful remnant” in your own life?

Bible Knowledge Question: How does St. Paul show that God has not rejected His people Israel?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to be faithful, even when others turn away. Remind me that I’m never alone—you always keep a remnant, a people who love You. Strengthen my heart when I feel discouraged, and help me to encourage others too.
