Contemplation (verse 2)
The psalmist so loves to call himself ‘a servant of God’ that he sometimes repeats it in the same psalm several times. He who tasted the liberation from the bondage of sin, feels the sweetness of the bondage to God, that grants his soul a kind of liberty, joy, and peace. And despite calling himself holy, he does not boast his piety, but leans upon the grace of God; crying: ‘Save Your servant who trusts in You
