Contemplation
The Son of God is our God, the Savior of mankind, who supports our weakness, and corrects the disturbance that dwell upon our hearts because of temptations. (+ St. Basil the Great)
Strength to endure tribulations and disturbances is from God, who does not forsake us, or let us endure beyond our ability; lest we would go from bondage to Him to bondage to someone else. (+ Father Onesimus of Jerusalem
Personal Question: In my times of weakness and shame, do I turn to God for help? Or does the devil trick me by making me think I need to fix myself first
Bible Knowledge Question: What are the two things mentioned in this psalm that belong to the Lord?
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to always turn to You, don’t let me fall into the trap or trying to save myself, don’t let me believe the devil’s lies that You don’t want me near You or that You have left me alone. Help me to lean on You, my rock my salvation, my refuge and my defense.
