Contemplation (verse 7)
When the Father said, “Hear Him,” it was a command to receive Christ’s words as life itself. Moses and Elijah fade into the background because Christ is the fulfilment of the Law and the Prophets. In Him is the full truth, and in listening to Him we find salvation.
