Contemplation (verse 35-37)
The Lord urges us to always be prepared, like servants waiting for their master to return. The reward of the faithful is beyond our imagination—Christ Himself will serve them at His banquet! What a beautiful promise: if we remain steadfast and vigilant, we will experience the joy of the Master welcoming us into His Kingdom
+ St John Chrysostom
Personal Reflection
Am I living my life as if Christ could return at any moment? What does it mean for me to be spiritually “ready” today?
Bible Knowledge Question
In the parable of the faithful servant, what does the master do when he finds his servants watching?
Prayer
Lord, help me to always be prepared for Your coming. May I live each day with watchfulness, faith, and love, so that when You return, I may be found ready and joyful in Your presence. Amen.
