Contemplation (verse 18-19):Jeremiah calls the people to lift up their hearts and hands to God. Though the Lord’s anger is heavy, His compassion is near. Tears and prayer become the bridge back to hope. For when the heart is poured out like water before God, His mercy flows in like a river. + St Jerome
Personal Reflection: When you feel far from God or broken inside, do you cry out to Him in prayer, honestly and fully?
Bible Knowledge Question: What does Jeremiah call the people to do in response to God’s judgment?
Prayer: Lord, when I feel distant or ashamed, teach me to pour out my heart before You. May my tears be turned into hope, and my weakness into renewed love for You.
