Contemplation (verse 17-19): Habakkuk looks beyond the disasters and losses of the world. Though the fig tree does not blossom and the fields produce no food, he rejoices in God Himself. The joy of the righteous does not depend on circumstances but on the unchanging presence of God. Faith transforms fear into praise and weakness into strength. + Fr Tadros Yacoub Malaty
Personal Reflection: When things go wrong or plans fail, do you still find joy in your relationship with God?
Bible Knowledge Question: What is Habakkuk’s final response to suffering and fear?
Prayer: Lord, help me to find my joy and strength in You, not in my circumstances. Teach me to praise You even in hardship, knowing that You never leave me.
