Please note the following (8) announcements and reminders:

1. Weekly Spiritual Message

Spiritual message for this week by Father Mark:

Low hanging fruit.
In any task or work, picking the lowest hanging fruit is always the first grab with the quickest and best results. I would like to suggest a couple of spiritual low-hanging fruits that is presented to us through our Church App – Upper Room Media. Throughout our day, there are some moments that can be utilised to multi-task listening. Times such as driving, or cleaning the house, or making the kids lunch boxes, or going to bed at night. These times could be used as an opportunity to play a sermon or spiritual music from Upper Room Media. Listening to spiritual media aids us to grow spiritually and often can act as a trigger for repentance. A low hanging fruit that is easy to grab! Another opportunity it presents is in the field of Evangelism. Evangelism is an area we all find difficult but there is some low hanging fruit again that Upper Room Media presents. Simply tell a friend about the app or share it on social media. Once they download the app, they may browse around and have a listen and God can direct them to something that can be life changing. A low hanging Evangelism opportunity that is easy to grab! To download Upper Room Media, simply search for it in App Store or Google Play.

2. Weekend Liturgies timetable

Please note the following important guidelines:

1. We encourage you to attend weekday masses when possible and leave Sunday free for others who don’t have any other choice. This will help keep attendance numbers under control and protect the church from any trouble. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

2. Although some rules have been relaxed it is important to remain diligent and avoid crowding. Please pre-order your food and avoid gathering in front of the food booths.

The liturgies timetable for this weekend is as follows:

3. Prophet Jonah Fast

Prophet Jonah’s 3-day fast starts this Monday 22 February.
Masses: Monday – Wednesday 8:30-10:30am.
Feast mass: Thursday 25 February, 8:30-10am.
Have a blessed fast our beloved congregation.

4. Service at 5&2 Café

The 5&2 Cafe is in need of committed servants to help in any capacity. A few hours a week will make a big difference but commitment is key.

Lighthouse is a show that discusses topics and questions important to understanding the Christian faith.

8. Bereavement Announcement of beloved Ahsaan Ossa Hanna:

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying." (Revelation 21:4)

Mrs Ahsaan Hanna our beloved sister, mother and grandmother has peacefully departed to the warm embrace of our Heavenly father. She was loving and compassionate to all, always putting others before herself. Mrs Ahsaan Hanna, was the wife of Dr Rifaat Hanna, sister of Mr Nabil Oussa, George Awad, Afaf Samaan, Samy Oussa and Mariam Rizkella. The mother of Riley, Rahmy and Anny and mother-in-law of Fr Paula Balamon. The grandmother of Paul, Anthony, Andrew, Mary, James and Annemarie.

The family will be accepting condolences on:

أود أن اقترح عليك بعض من الثمر الروحي السهل الحصول عليه الذي متوفر لنا من خلال التطبيق الخاص بالكنيسة – تطبيق العليا ( Upper Room Media). خلال يومنا، هناك بعض اللحظات التي يمكن فيها القيام بالاستماع والعمل فنقوم بمهام متعددة في نفس الوقت . أوقات مثل القيادة، أو تنظيف المنزل، أو تحضير لانش بوكس للأطفال، او عند الذهاب إلى السرير في المساء. يمكن في تلك الأوقات انتهاز الفرصة للاستماع إلى عظة أو موسيقى روحية على تطبيق Upper Room Media . إن الاستماع إلى وسائل الأعلام الروحية تساعد على النمو الروحي واحياناً كثيرة تكون محفز للتوبة.

ثمرة أخرى سهل الحصول عليها! هي فرصة الكرازة. الكرازة هي منطقة كلنا نستصعبها ولكن هناك أيضاً ثمرة سهل الحصول عليها من خلال تطبيق Upper Room Media. ببساطة اخبر صديق لك عن التطبيق وشارك التطبيق عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. بمجرد أن يقوم شخص بتنزيل التطبيق، سيتجول فيه وقد يستمع لشيء وسيوجهه الله إلى شيء يمكن أن يغير حياته.

نرجوكم الاطلاع على الإرشادات الهامة التالية:

· نحثكم على حضور قداسات أيام الأسبوع إذا امكن، وترك قداسات يوم والأحد لمن ليس لهم هذا الخيار . سيساعد هذا الأمر في الحفاظ على الالتزام بعدد الحضور المسموح به من المصلين، نقدر كثيراً مساعدتكم في هذا الأمر

· وعلى الرغم من تخفيف بعض القوانين بدءً من اليوم الجمعة ١٢ فبراير، الا أن الحرص وتجنب الازدحام أمور لا تزال مهمة. يُرجى وضع طلب الطعام مسبقاً وتجنب الزحمة أمام منافذ الطعام.

٨.عزاءنا لرحيل السيدة الغالية احسان حنا

وَسَيَمْسَحُ اللهُ كُلَّ دَمْعَةٍ مِنْ عُيُونِهِمْ، وَالْمَوْتُ لاَ يَكُونُ فِي مَا بَعْدُ، وَلاَ يَكُونُ حُزْنٌ وَلاَ صُرَاخٌ وَلاَ وَجَعٌ فِي مَا بَعْدُ" (رؤيا 21:4)

رقدت علي رجاء القيامة الأخت والأم والجدة الغالية إحسان حنا، رحلت إلى حضن الآب السماوي الدافئ. فهي كانت عطوفة ومحبة للجميع، ودائماً ما تضع الآخرين قبل نفسها.

السيدة احسان حنا هي زوجة دكتور رفعت حنا. أخت كل من: السيد نبيل اوسه و جورج عوض
