Today we celebrate the rebirth of our beloved Samir Rafael into Eternal Life. Samir was the loving husband of Marcelle Rafael, the father of Rosemary, Melinda and Sue-Anne and the grandfather of five adoring grandchildren; Daniel, Esther, Epiphany, Nicholas and Timion and their partners Marina, Kirlous and Sofia. He was a loving father to his sons-in-law Abouna Arsanious Barsoum and Magdy Rizk.
Condolences can be offered on Thursday 05/06 at St Mary and St Sidhom Beshay Coptic Orthodox Church at 444 Galston Rd, Dural at 6pm-8pm.
The funeral will be held on Friday 06/06 at St Mary and St Sidhom Beshay Coptic Orthodox Church at 11am.
His life is the fulfilment of the verse in Matthew 6:19-20 “do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth… but lay up for yourself treasures in Heaven.”
