Contemplation (verse 22-24)
“And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”

Personal Reflection
What are you chasing right now? Success, approval, comfort, popularity? And if you paused to ask God what His purpose for your life might be, would you be willing to follow it, even if it looked totally different from your own plan?

What does Paul mean when he says, “I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God” (Acts 20:27), and why do you think it was important for him to say this before leaving?

Prayer
Father, thank You for the wisdom in Your Word and the example of Paul’s faithful heart. As I go through my own journey, give me the courage to stand for what is right, the humility to serve others, and the strength to finish the race You’ve set before me. Help me to lead with love, speak with grace, and never lose sight of Your purpose for my life. Through St Paul’s intercession we pray …
