+ Entrance of Saint Mary into the Temple in Jerusalem

Our Lord Jesus Christ divinely explained that the reason that some of us may be rejected to live with Him forever is, in His words, “I do not know you”. He explained this when He spoke about the last day, when the King will reject those on His left side. He said to them “Depart from Me, I do not know you”.

 

He also explained it in the parable of the 10 virgins. He refused to open the door to the foolish virgins and said to them “I do not know you”.

 

Of course, this knowledge is not purely informational, because the Lord Jesus Christ knows everything about us; but it is rejection because there is not intimate relationship with Him. So, if we want to develop this deep relationship with Him, there are many ways but I will mention three:

1. We speak more often with Him. How can I have a strong relationship with a person that I don’t speak to?
2. We obey his advice because we trust Him and are loyal to Him.
3. We help his little children who are in need; because if I have a strong relationship with my Lord, then I must care about His needy children.

Our Lord, please say to us “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”.

 

Glory be to God forever. Amen.

The monthly Saints Celebration for the month of December highlights the commemoration of St Abaskharion El-Kalini and the first consecration of his church in St Bishoy Monastery, Wadi El-Natroun.

 

The evening will begin with the prayers of Vespers on Sunday, 21st December at 6:00pm.

يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس ابونا يعقوب

لقد أوضح لنا ربنا يسوع المسيح بطريقة إلهية أنه قد يتم رفض البعض منا  ولن نتمكن من ان نحيا معه إلى الأبد والسبب بحسب كلماته، «إني لا أعرفكم». وقد شرح ذلك عندما تكلّم عن اليوم الأخير، حين يرفض الملك أولئك الذين عن يساره، قائلاً لهم: «اذهبوا عني… إني لا أعرفكم».

وقد أوضح الأمر أيضًا في مَثَل العشر العذارى، إذ رفض أن يفتح الباب للعذارى الجاهلات وقال لهن: «إني لا أعرفكنّ».

وبالطبع، فهذه المعرفة ليست مجرد معلومات، لأن الرب يسوع المسيح يعرف كل شيء عنّا؛ لكنها تعني الرفض بسبب عدم وجود علاقة عميقة معه. لذلك، إن أردنا أن نطوّر علاقة عميقة معه، فهناك طرق عديدة، وسأذكر ثلاثًا منها:

1. أن نُكثِر من الحديث معه. فكيف تكون لي علاقة قوية مع شخص لا أتحدث إليه؟
2. أن نطيع وصاياه لأننا نثق به ونخلص له.
3. أن نساعد أولاده الصغار المحتاجين؛ لأنه إن كانت لي علاقة قوية مع ربي، فلا بد أن أهتم بأولاده المحتاجين.

يا ربنا، نرجوك أن تقول لنا: «تعالوا يا مباركي أبي، رثوا الملكوت المُعَدّ لكم منذ تأسيس العالم».

المجد لله دائمًا. آمين.

٦. ليلة مع القديسين – الاحتفال الشهري بالقديسين – الأحد ٢١ ديسمبر

الاحتفال الشهري بالقديسين لشهر ديسمبر يلقي الضوء على القديس أبسخريون القليني وأول تدشين لكنيسته في دير القديس الأنبا بيشوي بوادي النطرون. ستبدأ الأمسية بصلاة عشية يوم الأحد ٢١ ديسمبر الساعة ٦:٠٠ مساءً.

أبرز فقرات الأمسية

تطييب رفات القديس أبسخريون والقديسين الآخرين،

              العشية والتمجيد والزفة، كلمة روحية من الآباء، تسبحة جميلة على ضوء الشموع، هدايا خاصة للجميع، عشاء لذيذ وتقطيع الكيكة

نرجو الحضور للاستمتاع ببركات هذه الأمسية ونحن نحتفل بعيد القديس أبسخريون وكل القديسين في جو من الصلاة والمحبة.
