Contemplation
“In this book we see how God directs events without being seen, guiding the steps of His servants while the proud fall by their own arrogance. The feast of Ahasuerus shone with gold and marble, but it lacked the fear of God; therefore it produced nothing but confusion and wrath. Yet from this disorder, the Lord prepares a path for His humble handmaid. The world exalts power and beauty, but God watches over the quiet faith of the righteous and raises them in due time. Even when His name is not spoken, His providence is present, overturning the designs of kings and establishing His own will.”
+ St Jerome

Personal Reflection
In our lives, loyalty to God often shows up in these quiet moments. When I’m pressured to fit in, impress others, or stay silent, do I choose what is easy or what is right?

Bible Knowledge Question

Prayer
Lord God, You work even when we cannot see You, and Your plans unfold even in the middle of confusion. Give us the courage to stay loyal to You in every situation — at school, with friends, and when we are pressured to compromise. Strengthen our hearts to choose dignity, purity, and truth, just as You prepared Esther to stand for Your people. Guide our steps and help us trust Your hidden hand in our lives. Amen.
