Contemplation (verses 6)
The Shunammite woman had left everything in obedience to the word of the man of God… and because she trusted, God not only returned what was lost but restored it completely. The King, who once did not know her, was now used by God to fulfil His mercy. God is never debtor to anyone. He watches over His faithful ones with tender love and providence.

Personal Reflection
Do I trust that God sees the sacrifices I make for Him, even if they seem unnoticed by others? Am I confident that He will restore and care for me when I walk in obedience?

Prayer
Lord, help me trust in Your justice and kindness. Even when I feel I’ve lost something for Your sake, remind me that You are faithful to restore what is given in obedience. Amen.
