When I look at the Cross of our Lord Jesus, all I see is “Love crucified behold, the Beloved is on the Cross.”

The words of Solomon in his Song, “My beloved is mine, and I am His” (Song of Solomon 2:16), evoke the feeling of total surrender to the deep love of God. To belong to Christ is to participate in His crucified love. True love is willing to endure pain, struggles, accusations, tribulations, and ascetical spirituality for the sake of the Beloved.

The words of St. Paul, “Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39), reveal a man who has experienced the deep love of the Beloved and who refuses to let anything in this world separate him from that love.

I pray that nothing may ever separate us from the love of the Beloved. This world is passing away, and in the end, only one thing will remain—the love of God. This love lifts us from earth to heaven, remains with us in eternity, and is freely given to all who seek it with their whole heart.

This beautiful passage below, attributed to an unknown saint, is a profound expression of the love of God:

“Love is invincible, royal children. Its homeland lies in heaven; its kingdom lies in eternity; its shadow falls on earth; its absence is in hell. Oh, how powerful is that shadow! But real love the love that blazes in the fire of the eternal Fatherhood and eternal Sonship of God, the love which Christ brought to the earth this love is all-powerful. The power of this love has no comparisons, no measurements, no limits. The earth would have exploded if Christ had not risen from it.

The earth was incapable of containing Him within itself. This is the power of real, heavenly, eternal love. The might of love is indescribable. With the might of this blazing love, the King of Heaven visited the earth, endured all humiliations and tortures, and finally resurrected. By its might: infirmities are healed; demons are cast out; diseases are cured; storms are calmed; and all nature is forced into obedience. This love is entirely miracle-working, and wherever it appears at whatever time and in whatever place it works miracles.”

11. Parking Guidelines –

Please take care of our neighbours

Please take note of the following guidelines when parking your car and take care of our neighbours:

Avoid Parking Near Driveways or Corners: Always ensure that your vehicle does not block any driveways and that you avoid parking too close to corners, which can obstruct the view for other drivers and pedestrians.

Quiet Arrival and Departure: Please be as quiet as possible when arriving and leaving in your vehicles. This consideration will help maintain the tranquillity of our neighbourhood.

No Parking on Broe Avenue: Please observe the specific rule of not parking along Broe Avenue as this creates a traffic bottleneck which is dangerous.

Respect Neighbours’ Reserved Spots: Some neighbours may place bins or other markers to reserve parking spots for their households. Out of respect for their needs and requests, please do not move these markers or park in these reserved spots.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding. Should you have any concerns or require assistance regarding parking, please feel free to contact the church office.

يقدم رسالة هذا الاسبوع قدس أبونا أغوسطينوس

“الحب المصلوب”

عندما أنظرعلى صليب السيد المسيح، كل ما أرى هو أن ” الحب مصلوب، الحبيب على الصليب”

تثير كلمات سليمان الحكيم في سفر نشيد الأنشاد ” أنا لحبيبي وحبيبي لي” (نشيد الأنشاد 2: 16) مشاعر الاستسلام الكامل لمحبة الله الفائقة. الانتماء للسيد المسيح يتطلب أن نشترك في محبته المصلوبة. المحبة الحقيقية تستحمل الألم والجهاد والاتهامات والتجارب والنسك الروحي من أجل الحبيب.

كلمات القديس بولس الرسول ” لا يقدر شيء أن يفصلنا عن محبة الله التي في ربنا يسوع المسيح” (رومية 8: 38-39)، تكشف الانسان الذي اختبر محبة الحبيب والذي يرفض أن يفصله أي شيء في هذا العالم عن هذه المحبة.

ادعو إلى الله ألا يفصلنا أي شيء عن محبة الحبيب. هذا العالم سينتهي وسيبقى شيء واحد – محبة الله. هذه المحبة ترفعنا من الأرض إلى السماء، وتبقى إلى الأبد وهي متاحة مجاناً لكل من يسعى لها بكل قلبه.

القطعة التالية منسوبة إلى قديس غير معروف وهي تعبير عميق جداً عن محبة الله:

المحبة لا تقهر، يا أيها الأبناء الملوكيين. وطنها السماء؛ مملكتها في الأبدية؛ ظلها يغطي الأرض؛ وغيابها هو الجحيم. ما اقوى هذا الظل! لكن المحبة الحقيقية، المحبة التي تشتعل في نار أبوة الله الأبدية وبنوته الأبدية، المحبة التي جلبها المسيح على الأرض، هذه المحبة كلية القدرة، قوةهذه المحبة لا تقارن ولا تقاس ولا حدود لها. لو لم يقم المسيح، لأنفجرت الأرض. لم تكن الأرض قادرة على احتوائه في داخلها. هذه هي قوة المحبة الحقيقية السماوية الأبدية. قوة المحبة لا توصف. بقوة هذه المحبة المتهوجة، زار ملك السماء الأرض، وتحمل كل الإهانات والعذابات، وأخيراً قام بقوته؛ التي تشفي الأمراض وتطرد الشياطين، وتهدأ العواصف، وتجبر الطبيعة كلها على الطاعة. هذه المحبة صانعة معجزات بكل معنى الكلمة، وأينما ظهرت في أي وقت ومكان …” في أي مكان تصنع المعجزات”

تجنب ركن السيارات بجوار مداخل المنازل أو بجانب زوايا الشارع: تأكد دائماً من عدم سد أي مداخل/مخارج المنازل والامتناع عن الركن بالقرب من زوايا الشارع حيث يتم حجب الرؤية لغيرك من سائقي السيارات والمشاة.

الوصول والمغادرة الهادئة: يُرجى التزام الهدوء على قدر الإمكان عند الوصول إلى الكنيسة وعند مغادرتها. سيساعد هذا الحرص على الاحتفاظ بهدوء وسلام منطقتنا.

عدم الركن في Broe Avenue: يُرجى الحرص على عدم ركن السيارات في Broe Avenue مما يسبب اختناق مروري وهو أمر خطير.

احترام الأماكن المحجوزة الخاصة بالجيران. قد يضع بعض الجيران صناديق القمامة أو غيرها لحجز أماكن لسياراتهم. ينبغي احترام احتياجاتهم ورغباتهم، يرجى عدم تحريك هذه العلامات وعدم الركن في الأماكن المحجوزة.

عزز معلوماتك عن الحان الصوم الكبير واسبوع الآلام من خلال دروس الشموسية كل سبت الساعة 6:30 م

الكنيسة مفتوحة لمن يريد أن يمر عليها للصلاة أو التأمل

سيتم وضع الانجيل المقدس والاجبية امام المذبح، مفتوح على صفحة ما، اقرأ رسالتك الخاصة أو المزمور وأقلب الصفحة للشخص الذي سيأتي بعدك لتستمر الصلاوات. نأمل أن نقرأ 150 مزمور يومياً وأن نقرأ الاكتاب المقدس كله خلال الصوم. هذه بركة كبيرة وعطية لها معنى يقدمها شعب الكنيسة للرب خلال الصوم.

 

٤. التخلص من السموم خلال الصوم المقدس
برجاء مشاهدة الفيديو المرفق والبوستر. استبدل هاتفك الذكي بهاتف عادي وانفصل عن ما يلهيك هذا الصوم المقدس.
