Contemplation
This path of faith demanded exceptional courage and determination on Mary’s part. And there was no one with whom she could talk, no one who could give her advice. She found herself far removed from every sphere of human experience. All she could do was cleave to God, to whom she was bound by the promise. Seeing that God was to be born of her as a human child, it was only natural that she should find satisfaction in Him alone and that she should turn to the Holy Spirit as her sole Refuge and Counsellor.
