Contemplation (verse 2)
”Though Nebuchadnezzar came with force, it was the hand of God that allowed the judgment. For many years the prophets cried out, but the people would not return. God’s patience is long, but His justice is sure. Yet even in exile, He would preserve a faithful remnant, and His promises would not fail.”

Are there warnings from God that I’ve been ignoring in my life? Am I mistaking His patience for permission? How can I respond before the consequences come?
