Contemplation (verses 31)
Jehu was zealous in executing God’s command, but he did not walk with a whole heart. God does not delight in outward obedience without inner devotion. Many may start well, even be bold for God, but unless they surrender fully, their service becomes stained with self-interest. Partial obedience is still disobedience. + Fr Tadros Malaty

Do I obey God with a whole heart, or just in part? Are there areas of my life where I still hold back from full obedience?

Prayer
Lord, purify my heart and help me walk with You fully. Don’t let me settle for half-hearted obedience. Give me courage to give You every part of my life. Amen.
