Contemplation (verse 15-18)
The last encounter between David and Jonathan, took place in the midst of those hard times (1 Samuel 23: 15 – 18). Jonathan remained true in his love and loyalty to his friend David, risking his life to see him, at a time when Saul’s hatred was at its maximum.

Personal Reflection
Jonathan was very selfless, and never sought to challenge or harm David, even though he knew that the kingdom would go to David instead of him… how would I have reacted in that situation? How can I demonstrate the same selflessness that Jonathan had?
