Contemplation (verses 3-5)
Solomon’s heart was preoccupied with building the house of the Lord, not for his own glory, but to fulfill the desire of his father David and to honor God. The temple was a symbol of God’s dwelling among His people, and Solomon sought to make it a place of holiness and peace.

Prayer
Lord, help me use what I have wisely and trust You like Solomon did when he built the temple. Let my life bring honor to You in everything I do. Amen
