1.Weekly Spiritual Message

Spiritual message of the week by Father Jonathan:

"God has bound me with all the remedies that lead to life" The Gregorian Liturgy

There was a father, who was known to be very kind by his nature.

His son, out of his naivety, had been badly distorted by drug addiction. He was not fit to live in the house of his father anymore, even to exist among the servants of the house.

The father’s friend advised him to forget about his distorted son completely, leaving him to live in the streets, and not to waste his efforts trying to restore him.

However, the kind father insisted upon restoring his son, whatever it took.

"Day and night, I will stay with my son, to seek his safety and keep him in my house", declared the father. "I will bind him with all the remedies that lead to life."

This is the story of the coming Passion Week: God has bound me with all the remedies that lead to life. Christ our God gave His life on the cross for my distorted self, so that I can live forever in His house.

Let us spend every minute of this Holy Week under His cross, accepting His salvation and restoration, so that we can live forever in our Father’s house.

The Program of service is as follows.

3. Sunday School on Palm Sunday

While delayed due to the General Funeral following the liturgy, Sunday school classes will be on this Sunday 28 April.

KG- Yr4 – Start at 11am

Yr5 and above – Start at 11:15am

Please check with class servants for finish times. A blessed Palm Sunday to all.

4. In the Shadow of the Cross – tonight Friday 26 April

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive." ( 1 Corinthians 15:22)

As we approach the culmination of our fasting journey and prepare for Passion Week, let us focus our attention on the cross of Christ, where salvation was secured for all. Come and join us on Friday, April 26th at 7:30 PM for a spiritual evening together. " The shadow of the cross."

Childcare service will be available starting at 7:30 PM.

Don’t miss this opportunity to dwell in the presence of our Savior, surrounded by the significance of the cross.

5. Palm Weaving

A call out from the PALM weaving servants, they need the talent of servants who can weave palms for the church with the group tonight – Friday, 26/4 and tomorrow -Saturday, 27/4.

6. Remembrance Liturgy – tomorrow Saturday 27 April

On Saturday 27th April 2024, there will be a liturgy to pray for the Lord to repose the souls of beloved members of our congregation who have gone to heaven. We will also be praying for the Lord to give comfort to those who are grieving. Following this liturgy there will be talks about coping with grief. 7. St Wanas Library – April Library Bulletin!

8. Art Workshop – Saturday 27 April

This Saturday is the last art workshop for the term. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for your child to build on their artistic talent!

9. Holy Week Shuttle Bus Schedule:

The Shuttle bus will be operating during the following times during Holy week:

Palm Sunday

8:15am – 1pm

5:15pm – 9:15pm

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

6:15pm-8:45pm

Thursday

5:45pm-9:15pm

Good Friday

7:45am-4:30pm

Saturday – Easter Eve

4:45pm-11:30pm

10. Holy Week Bus Service

A bus service will be running only during the Holy Week to bring the congregation to church. The Pickup times and locations are:

6:00pm – Wattle Grove (outside St Mark College)

6:20pm – Riverwood Railway Station

Returning from church 15 minutes after finishing.

11. St Mark’s Church Easter Fair – Sunday 5 May

10:30am – 1pm: Youth and Kids activities at St Mark’s Church. Please see poster for more details.

١.الرسالة الروحية الأسبوعية

يقدم رسالة هذا الأسبوع قدس أبونا جوناثان

"ربطتني بكل الأدوية المؤدية إلى الحياة"

كان هناك أب معروف بأنه طيب جداً بطبيعته.

ولكن أبنه، بجهل منه، شوه نفسه تماما بإدمانه للمخدرات. للاسف لم يكن يصلح بعد ليعيش في بيت أبيه ولا حتى أن يتواجد بين خدام و اهلين هذا البيت.

لقد نصح شخص معرفة لهذا الأب بأن ينسى أبنه هذا تماماً و أن يتركه في مكانه الطبيعى الذى لايصلح لمثل حالته اياه.. الشارع.. وألا يضيع مجهوده في محاولة إسترجاعه. ‘ليس هناك امل فيه..انه تشوه جدا’ وسوس فى اذنه ذلك الشخص..

ولكن هذا الأب الحنون صمم على إعادة أبنه مهما كلفه الأمر.

قال الأب "سأجلس مع ابني ليلاً ونهاراً لؤداويه و احسن من صحته وليطمأن قلبى على سلامته وعلى بقاءه في البيت"، " سأربطه بكل الأدوية المؤدية إلى الحياة"

هذه قصة اسبوع الآلام المقبل علينا: لقد ربطني الله بكل الأدوية المؤدية إلى الحياة. لقد بذل السيد المسيح حياته على الصليب من اجل نفسي المشوهة حتى اعيش في بيته إلى الأبد.

فلنقضي كل دقيقة من أسبوع الآلام تحت الصليب، نقبل خلاصه ورجوعنا إليه، حتى نحيا إلى الأبد في بيت أبينا..يا له من خلاص و حب..

اعطنا يارب ان نفهم مقدار هذا الخلاص و نجلس متأملين فى صليبك فى أسبوع الآلام.

٣.مدارس الأحد يوم أحد الزعف

على الرغم من التأخير بسبب صلاة الجناز العام، إلا انه سيتم عقد فصول مدارس الأحد كالمعتاد يوم الأحد الموافق 28 أبريل.

من حضانة – الصف الرابع الابتدائي: تبدأ الساعة 11 صباحاً

من الصف الخامس الإبتدائي فما فوق: تبدأ الساعة 11:15 صباحاً.

٤.فى ظل الصليب

"لأَنَّهُ كَمَا فِي آدَمَ يَمُوتُ الْجَمِيعُ، هكَذَا فِي الْمَسِيحِ سَيُحْيَا الْجَمِيعُ." (1 كو 15: 22).

اول ما نوصل لآخر جمعه فى الصيام بنلاقى نفسنا بنرتب لأسبوع الآلام و نثبت أعينا لصليب المسيح كما ثبت المسيح نظره الى خلاصنا على الصليب.

هلم نخرج سويا ولو لبضع ساعات نمكث مع مخلصنا " فى ظل الصليب"

يوم الجمعه ٢٦/ ٤ الساعه ٧:٣٠م، في سهرة روحيه بعنوان "كَمَا فِي آدَمَ يَمُوتُ الْجَمِيعُ، هكَذَا فِي الْمَسِيحِ سَيُحْيَا الْجَمِيعُ".

٦. قداس إحياء ذكرى احبائنا-غداً السبت 27 أبريل

سيقام يوم السبت الموافق 27 أبريل قداس نطلب فيه من الرب نياحاً لأرواح أحبائنا من شعب الكنيسة الذين انتقلوا إلى السماء. ونصلي فيه أيضاً من أجل الحزانى. بعد القداس سيتم إلقاء كلمات عن التعايش مع الحزن. برجاء تسجيل رغبتك في الحضور مستخدماً استمارة جوجل من أجل إعداد الأطعمة وللتأكد من ذكر ابونا لأسماء احبائك خلال القداس: . https://forms.gle/E1D3G2eNqvDL9UiU8

سيعمل الأتوبيس خلال الأوقات التالية خلال اسبوع الآلام:

8:15 – 1 ظهراً

5:15 – 9:15 مساءً

الاثنين، الثلاثاء، الأربعاء

6:15 – 8:45 مساءً

الخميس

5:45 – 9:45 مساءً

الجمعة العظيمة

7:45 صباحاً – 4:30 مساءً

السبت – ليلة عيد القيامة

4:45 عصراً – 11:30 مساءً

١٠.خدمة اتوبيس إضافية خلال اسبوع الآلام

ستدار خدمة للاتوبيس خلال اسبوع الآلام فقط لتوصيل الشعب إلى الكنيسة. أوقات وأماكن التجمع كما يلي:

6 مساءً – Wattle Grove (امام مدرسة سانت مارك)

6:20 مساءً – محطة قطار ريفروود

الرجوع من الكنيسة بعد انتهاء الصلاة ب15 دقيقة

١١.احتفال كنيسة سانت مارك بعيد القيامة – الأحد 5 مايو
