Dry your eyes. Lift your chin. Fix your face. Shake your guilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for thinking about me and asking if I\u2019m ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But why the guilt in your voice? Haven\u2019t you always loved me? Haven\u2019t you always supported me? Haven\u2019t you always fed me? Haven\u2019t you always treated me with respect? Haven\u2019t you always called me your sister and loved me as such? Who convinced you that this isnt true?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not God. Not me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet friends. Dry your eyes. Lift your chin. Fix your face. Shake your guilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who lied to you and told you that you were the problem? Who\u2019s bullying you into posting hashtags and shouting slogans? Who\u2019s trying to make you repent of sins you\u2019ve never committed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not God. Not me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet friends. Dry your eyes. Lift your chin. Fix your face. Shake your guilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who\u2019s guilt tripping you into making public declarations of where your loyalties lie, as if your life isn\u2019t declaration enough? Who\u2019s convincing you that you\u2019re someone you\u2019re not?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you not always practiced love? Have you not always set the standard? Have you not always been you? Who dares to dispute that?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not God. Not me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet friends. We wouldn\u2019t be friends if these things weren\u2019t true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there wouldn\u2019t be a single problem in the world if everyone was like you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So when you call me and ask me, \u2018What should I do?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer is simple: Keep being you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
