Teach\nme to seek after unity, even if that means having to give up my own desires and\nplans. Grant me a taste of the sweetness of unity, that I may strive for it\nalways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open my eyes to\nsee the importance of this virtue in my life and in my service. Never let me\nthink that grand ideas and plans are worthwhile, if they come at the expense of\nunity. Grant that my family and I would live in unity all the days of our lives\n\u2013 so that this would be where you would command the blessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protect our\nchurch from divisions. Shield us from fruitless and divisive debates.
