Where are You, Lord, can’t You see I need You?<\/p>\n

Where are You, Lord, I need You to be true.<\/p>\n

True to your promises, true to your love,<\/p>\n

True to Your blessings and grace from above.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Where is the strength that You promised to give,<\/p>\n

Or the peace that surpasses all understanding to let me live?<\/p>\n

Why can’t I stand up?<\/p>\n

Why don\u2019t I have strength to live?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Did I forget that with You all things are possible;<\/p>\n

Did I forget that all things will work for good for those called to Your purpose?<\/p>\n

I feel like my problems are not salvageable,<\/p>\n

But really, they are only on the surface.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I live a life that is external,<\/p>\n

When all the joy in the world resides internal.<\/p>\n

In the secret place, You reward me openly<\/p>\n

In the secret place, I fall in love with You totally;<\/p>\n

So much that I can\u2019t remember the force of the external.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Help me, dear Lord, to get up and not forfeit.<\/p>\n

This life is tough but I know You will not leave me orphan.<\/p>\n

I love you, Lord, I want to trust You with all my being<\/p>\n

I need to trust You, but sometimes I can\u2019t believe what I am seeing.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’ll climb every mountain cross every ocean<\/p>\n

Until I find You and cease the commotion.<\/p>\n

Lord, help my unbelief help me to stay true<\/p>\n

Help me to stop questioning, \u201cwhere are You?\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You are always there regardless of the distractions.<\/p>\n

You are my Lord, You are my comfort.<\/p>\n

Your ways are higher than any worldly attraction,<\/p>\n

Help me to trust Your promises so that my life reveals You triumphant.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let me never let you go and always pray,<\/p>\n

That you will be my hope and help me through the grey.<\/p>\n

You are my shield, my counsellor and guide<\/p>\n

You’ve helped me so much, how could I deny?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let me live according to Your will<\/p>\n

And help me to remember to be still.<\/p>\n

Be still and know that you are God<\/p>\n

Be still and know You are my rod<\/p>\n
