{"id":5850,"date":"2019-12-08T19:12:14","date_gmt":"2019-12-08T09:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stmark.com.au\/Blogs\/?p=5850"},"modified":"2019-12-08T19:12:14","modified_gmt":"2019-12-08T09:12:14","slug":"my-strength","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.stmark.com.au\/Blogs\/my-strength\/","title":{"rendered":"My Strength"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>My Strength<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>by\u00a0<strong>Marcus Mikhail<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If God is for me who can be against me?<br \/>\nI know I can trust Him in every difficulty<br \/>\nWith life and all its ups and downs,<br \/>\nI rely on Him and His strength through all my hours<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Life is hard; I need to be tough<br \/>\nBut God makes it easier with His love<br \/>\nNothing will phase me; nothing will make me cease living,<br \/>\nBecause I continue in the Lord and never stop striving<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Times can be awful and it feels like He&#8217;s not there,<br \/>\nBut I trust in His promises that show His unconditional care<br \/>\nThey say life is a merry go round with its ups and downs and sometimes round and round<br \/>\nWith God, all I see is that His grace does truly abound<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I pray, Lord, that You continue to help me fight in this life<br \/>\nAnd look towards my eternal destination, free from trouble and strife<br \/>\nI can&#8217;t wait for that day; I can&#8217;t wait to finally be with You<br \/>\nOh dear, Lord, how I thank You that I know this to be true!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You died for me on the Cross and forgave me of my sin<br \/>\nYou consumed it with holy fire and threw it all in the bin<br \/>\nYou took my place; I should have been the one that died,<br \/>\nBut it was You who took the beatings and the shame, and made the church Your bride<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the Love of God (Romans 8:38-39)<br \/>\nIt gives me such peace to know that His love is so broad<br \/>\nHe know the plans He has for me, plans to prosper and not to harm (Jeremiah 29:11)<br \/>\nWhat have I to fear, why should I be in alarm?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call in Truth (Psalm 145:18)<br \/>\nEspecially now in my youth I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)<br \/>\nHe has won my battle and granted me victory And we know that God works to the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28)<br \/>\nThis is true encouragement when life is dim<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)<br \/>\nHe&#8217;ll be with us always till this life is through<br \/>\nMy peace I leave with you not as the world gives to you (John 14:27)<br \/>\nI find it hard to believe people try to get through life in all the things they do<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I have swept away your offences like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist (Isaiah 44:22)<br \/>\nOh the joy of knowing that your greatness is so Bliss!<br \/>\nHis word is so rich no other book has such power You can get relief when life gets sour<br \/>\nI thank my God, my Lord, my Rock For helping me through the storms, and it wasn&#8217;t just by luck<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Strength by\u00a0Marcus Mikhail If God is for me who can be against me?
